Introduction to my review:
I’m finally getting revved up for spring now that it’s finally warming up in my neck of the woods. What better way to christen spring than with a sweet apricot scent? I purchased this fragrance in their largest jar because, let’s face it… they’re GORGEOUS and they put out the strongest aroma.
This candle is so pretty. The oval jar is lovely all by itself… add the vibrant orange wax with a picture of ripe apricots and sprigs of mint and it became even more striking. The color of the wax was my favorite… a really pretty bold and glowing orange. The picture above does not do the actual color of this candle justice. At all.
What did my candle smell like?
First sniff, loved! It smelled like sweet apricot with the perfect touch of crisp and cold mint. So different and refreshing. The 
aroma off the wax was strong so I took that as a good sign. Here is the scent description for this fragrance:
“A delicate botanical blend of lemon, juicy apricot, and crisp mint leaves.”
Lemon! Interesting. Smelling the wax, to me, this scent was all apricot and mint which was fine by me… it smelled wonderful!! Time to light my candle!
I burned this candle in a big bedroom and it performed perfectly there. The scent throw was a nice and steady medium. When I walked into the room, a blast of minty apricot surrounded me and it was really refreshing… the air had a cool and crisp quality to it that makes you shiver a bit. I love that!! Especially in the summer when it’s super hot outside. As far as lemon goes (as stated in the scent description) – I never did smell any lemon notes. To me, this candle was all apricots and mint. A perfect blend of both. Loved it!!
Strength – this candle gave a nice and steady medium throw. It wasn’t mega strong but you definitely noticed it the moment you walked into the room. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this one between a 6 & 7.
How did my candle burn?
My candle burned perfect. No issues at all. Clean burning, no wasted wax.
Closing to my review:
I really enjoyed this candle and will definitely purchase a few more in the future. I can picture burning this fragrance all summer long. Minty scents are a great way to cool down a room and with the added sweetness of apricots makes 
this a perfect summer scent.
Highly recommend this fragrance from Colonial. Better hurry though… I just learned this is a retiring scent so if you want to try it, don’t wait too long. I’m for sure going back for a few more to keep on hand. I loved it!
