First impression of Apple Pumpkin Pancakes:

Apple Pumpkin Pancakes is a fragrance I purchased last year from Bath & Body Works – a scent I’m just now getting around to reviewing. My bad!! That’s what happens when you have a thousand candles to review with only so much time to do it.

What a cute candle this was with its wasabi green wax and a picture of pancakes with sliced apples on top drenched in maple syrup on the label. Delicious!!!!

Here is the scent description from the bottom of the candle:

Start your day with the satisfying scent of fluffy pumpkin pancakes topped with warm chopped apples and crunchy walnuts.

Mmmm!! Great description. Smelling the wax, it smelled really spicy and I’m not sure where that was coming from. I didn’t smell pumpkin or maple syrup which was interesting. I just smelled apples and spice.

Time to find out how this candle burns!

I started this candle in a large bedroom where it stayed from start to finish and oh – my – goodness!! Yum!! Double yum!!! The spicy notes I smelled in the beginning totally went away leaving the most mouthwatering aroma of pancakes, apples and maple syrup. So sweet and yummy. I could even smell the nutty walnuts in the background which I loved even more. This fragrance was beyond delicious and smelled exactly like the description, minus the pumpkin. Loved it and I definitely want more!!

Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 9 in a large room. 10 and above in a medium to smaller rooms. This is definitely a room filler and amazing!!

How did my candle burn?

This candle burned perfect. No wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish.

Closing to my review:

I loved Apple Pumpkin Pancakes and hope this scent makes a comeback. If you’re a fan of bakery and love sweet maple scents, this scent has your name written all over it. Imagine the aroma of warm fluffy pancakes, sweet maple syrup with toasted walnuts in the background. This is a scent you’ll be cozying up to and sniffing the air every chance you get. I know I did!
