First impression:
I purchased these melts through ScentSational’s website. I have not found this scent at Walmart stores. First want to point out… these melts were much smaller in size than what I’m used to receiving from ScentSational’s. We’re talking almost a full ounce difference. I’m not sure why but I wasn’t really thrilled about that.
First sniff…. it smelled really good… a unique and smooth bakery apple scent. Not quite apple pie but definitely bakery oriented. There was nothing fake or plasticy to this one, just a yummy apple.
Melting:
I really liked this fragrance. I used the entire clamshell in two melters in a huge great room and the the scent gave a nice steady medium throw. Here is the scent description from ScentSational’s website:
“A compelling blend of enticing scents.”
Not the greatest description but the scent name kind of tells it all… apple, pecans and sage. Easy peasy. What did I think? This scent was all apple and pecans to me. It wasn’t an apple pie type bakery… I thought it was more creamy apple meets nutty goodness with subtle hints of sage. The sage was very light but it was there for sure. Very unique apple scent.
Would I buy it again? Yes, for sure. I love apple scents and this one was different enough to stand out. I liked it a lot.
