First impression of Mistletoe Kisses:
Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to begin with this fragrance. The moment I smelled Mistletoe Kisses, I was blown away by how realistic it smelled. But before I get into the fragrance itself, look at the picture above… isn’t that a darling candle? I loved the strip of Christmas garland wrapped around the neck of the jar. That’s a great picture above but in person… DARLING!! And bonus… the top layer of wax had iridescent glitter sprinkled all over the surface giving it an even more festive look. Super cute.

Very nice description but honestly, I didn’t smell anything in the description other than pine. In fact, I thought this fragrance smelled exactly like a Christmas tree. EXACTLY!! So realistic, I was stunned. I even searched for my hubby (my resident pine expert) and made him smell it and he agreed… very realistic, you’d think you were smelling the real thing. Can you tell how impressed I am?
Time to light my candle!
I decided to burn this candle in a medium sized room to start out and I’m happy to report, it performed pretty well. Once the wick was lit, it took a good hour to reach a full melt pool and from then on out… my entire guest bedroom smelled like a freshly cut Christmas tree as if one was literally sitting right in the room. I cannot stress that enough…. It was 100% authentic.
I have to say after burning this candle for several days straight, I’m pretty happy. I’ve tried a huge amount of Christmas tree fragrances and this candle literally impressed the heck out of me. Which makes me wonder… if this is what they consider their mistletoe scent… what does their actual Christmas tree fragrance smell like? I’m extremely curious.
Also want to point out how pretty this candle was to watch burning. The glitter on the surface stayed with the candle the entire way down and it sparkled beautifully. Loved the entire vibe of this candle.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7 in a medium sized room. 10 in a small room so if you’re after room saturation strong, that’s something to keep in mind.
How did my candle burn?
This candle burned perfect. Zero wick issues. Clean burning from start to finish. Just remember to trim those wicks.
Closing to my review:
I absolutely LOVED this candle and even though the scent was supposed to have berries and cedarwood in it, I recommend it to all those in search of an authentic Christmas tree scent. You won’t be disappointed. The entire time I had this candle burning, the room smelled like a real live tree was sitting inside it. That’s pretty impressive.
I burned this candle in a medium sized room and the strength gave a nice medium scent throw so if you want to fragrance a larger room, I would probably go with 2 candles or maybe try their melts instead.
