First impression of Raspberry Margarita:

Raspberry Margarita is another limited addition scent from ScentSationals so it will only be around through spring and summer. I purchased this scent at Walmart and they have plenty of it so definitely check it out. The label drew me in. It showed a dark red margarita with salt lining the rim with a lime wedge. Mmmm!! I’ll take chips and salsa with that too please!

The wax smelled like a salty red berry scent. It smelled interesting. I was intrigued and hoping that scent stayed true once melting.

Let’s find out!

Melting:

I used the entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in two electric melters in my great room. Once melting, it took roughly 10 minutes to really start noticing the scent and boy was it strong. The aroma… I smelled a sugary fruit punch. Raspberry Margarita? Sure, but minus the alcohol. To me, this scent was all berries and sugar with teeny hints of salt. It wasn’t “knock your socks off” amazing but it was a nice and sweet berry scent.

Strength – I would rate this scent a 10 out of 10 in any size room. Boy, for a little while, I thought about dumping the wax, it was so strong, it was almost hard to handle.

In closing, I liked Raspberry Margarita but not sure enough to purchase again. It didn’t really wow me if that makes sense but I did enjoy the fragrance. Go smell one and see for yourself, you may like it. We all have different noses and tastes. 🙂
