First impression of Pineapple Melon Freeze:
Pineapple Melon Freeze in another limited addition scent from Better Homes and Gardens so if you’re interested in it, don’t wait. Limited addition scents are usually only around for a few months once released and then they’re almost impossible to find.
This scent smelled very fresh and summery but I only purchased one to review. To me, the wax smelled like a mix of fruity scents that had an effervescent feel to it. Basically, it smelled bubbly and I couldn’t really pinpoint any one type of fruit. I liked it but I wasn’t too sure about it just yet, which is why I only purchased one. The true test will be once melting.
Which happens now…
Melting:
I used the entire clamshell pack (3 cubes each) in two electric melters in my great room. Once melting, it took less than a minute before the scent was permeating my great room and it smelled like a tropical fruit salad. I didn’t smell any melon in the mix as indicated in the scent name. To me, this fragrance was all pineapple and who knows what other fruits. Popsicles? Fruit salad? Fruit Punch? Fruit smoothie? It could be any one of those depending on your mood. It was one of those scents I liked but couldn’t tell you exactly what I was smelling. Want to point out, my husband really liked this one enough to comment on it. He thought it smelled like pineapple and mango’s. Now that I think about it, yeah… I could see that. 🙂
Strength – I would rate this scent a 10 out of 10 across the board in any size room. It was very strong and fresh.
If you love fruity tropical scents, go smell these melts at Walmart. I bet you’ll walk away with this one along with a few others. Lots of good smellies to be had this season.
Happy melting!
