Moona Marmalade and Black Bread soap
I am still testing my Solstice perfume samples. Today is Night Star, which I am loving. It has that Opium vibe going (If you have ever tried Opium, you know how rich it is).

The owner of the shop has her own youtube channel here' s a link to making her soaps:
http://www.youtube.c...h?v=kwcLGXIuK9E
I so far tried her soap bars, lotions, body butter, bubbling sugar scrubs, bubbling bath cream (cream soap), body mists, and alcohol free perfume spray, love them all! Her products are all scented strongly and I was really impressed by how her cream soap lathers!
I just found out through her channel she closed her artfire store and started her own website to buy from: http://nikorybathtreats.com/
So far my favorite scents from her are Burberry London- Clementine, Honeysuckle, English Garden Rose, Tiare Flower, Jasmine, Peony, Veil of Musks, Indian Sandalwood, Patchouli, which is my all time favorite perfume so I was like in bath and body glory
Other scents I enjoy are: Berry Brit which is a Burberry Brit dupe and scents I want to try are her Gucci for woman dupe-a refreshing floral, luxurious blend of heliotrope, orange blossom, orris, vanilla, citrus, cumin, and thyme, Magnolia in Bloom-is a complex, sexy magnolia scent; well rounded with top notes of mandarin, ylang ylang, grapefruit, freesia, and hyacinth; middle notes of tuberose, magnolia, plum, and lily; all sitting on base notes of white musk and vanilla bean, and Bedtime Bath-Soothing bedtime blend of mandarin, lavender and chamomile, neroli and lily of the valley. Bottom notes of hay and musk.
I have to resniffed Opium again, Night Star sounds like it would be fantastic for colder weather!

GMTA~ Just re-read how you like her Berry Brit scent. I have never tried any of the Burberry scents. Guess I'm missing out on something I should try.
You should sniff Opium the next time you're in a department store. It's for sure a winter scent. I think I would choke if I wore this in the summer. I ran out of Opium about ten years ago and have been meaning to replace it ever since.

Used Toadstool Soaps Chocolate Jojoba and Shea butter cream - it's a rediscovery from my stash and I smelled chocolately all day.
Also used Moonlight scent from Brooklyn Organics on etsy - awesome etsy crafter. I also got some handmade masks and mineral makeup and cute cute handmade lip balm cupcakes. Check her out!!

Today was Moona Blueberry Hill 4 in 1
I then mixed 1 part Haus of Gloi Honeysuckle and Lemon Curd Pumpkin Butter and 3 parts Moonalisa Blueberry Hill Wild Yam Butter for my body cream. Nice experiment ! The Gloi scent was way too lemony for me, so I will mix it with other scents.

Today I went with my Rice Flower & Shea dupe from Luna Bleu. I think I like the B&BW version better. Oh well !

Here’s what I been using the past week:
Scrubs: Mad City Sue (MCS) (etsy) Hazelnut Marshmallow & Pizzelle Cookies whipped sugar body scrub (been loving this combo it smells like chocolate marshmallow wafer cookies mixed with vanilla wafers yum
Soaps: MCS shower parfait soap in Mint Sugar Cookie-wasn’t first sure about this scent but in the shower it smells like the perfect balance of mint and sugar cookies, glad I choose it!! These soaps have a creamy lather to them and I can smell the scent on my skin after the shower
Body Butter: MCS Pizzelle Cookie double body butter-this scent is a bit lighter in the body butter versus the scrub but it may need some curing which some of my mcs body butters needed in the past and it worked wonders for them!
Perfume: MCS 8ml perfumes in Vanilla Swirl (smells very close to pizzelle cookies, like a creamy vanilla wafer scent) and Hazelnut Marshmallow, Cleanse Your Soul body mist in Joyful and Triumphant (smells like creamy eggnog and sugar cookies), Jojoelle Creamy Eggnog Fluff scent description-A delicious blend of marshmallow, eggnog, Lait Sucre and dreamy vanilla. Extra creamy and sweet with a touch of spice, I LOVE this, the lait sucre adds that special quality to it!!

How is the Lavender Shortbread cream? Are you finding the wild yam cream strong enough? I like the Potion Lotion. It's hard to change my ways.

Jules, the Wild Yam Cream is not a favorite of mine. It comes in a jar and is very messy to scoop out...not a thick cream at all. It also has minimal scent strength and longevity in the ones I have, which are Blueberry Hill, Lavender Shortbread, and Lemon Curd & Coconut. I have a Gaelic Mist I haven't cracked open yet. I did notice that the Lavender Shortbread smells much stronger and more authentic in the jar than it did when I first got it months ago. On the skin, it fades to a generic bakery scent after a short time. I like the Potion Lotions too, but some of those have zero scent longevity, too. It's been hit or miss for me. The incensy scents, such as Eclipse and Bohemian Velvet, are super long-lasting.

Is this a New Year's resolution? If so, it's a good one. My top desk drawer is cluttered with EDP samples.
