Jules, I like the warming scrubs from Villainess, too. [smilie=th_WE1summer013] I had a Dulches en Fuego one that felt wonderful on the skin.

Yes, Moona's Marmalade and Black Bread soap is great for this time of year. Did she ever make this in a lotion? It is perfect for me sa a soap but would probably irritate my sensitive skin as a body lotion.

Today was Alchemic Muse Chiquita whipped soap
Cozy Moments Pink Coconut Cream body butter

Wow great scents everyone :) I LOVE pink coconut cream from cozy moments boogie it is my favorite scent from her! I have it in a body cream and body mist and want to get it in a whipped soap! I LOVE Harvest Moon from solstice scents Jules!! Boogie gave me a roll on and a body cream in our swap and I really enjoy how it is a slightly spicy foody scent but the spice note doesn't irritate my skin, when I smell it reminds me all of Thanksgiving and Christmas baking scents :)

I am wearing a mixture of scents like a Fall cornucopia [smilie=th_FULL_O17]
Whipped Soap: Savor's Ruby Creme Fraiche-A blend of orchid and nectar. This is pretty special I think. Apple, pear, lily and osmanthus.(I adore this Pam, so juicy and fresh!)
Scrub: Haunt Golden Pumpkin
Soap Bar: Haunt Pumpkin Queen
Body Butters: Haus of Gloi Hearth and Cocoa Pink's Marshmallow Cake on Mondays Noel-this really cured so nicely the vanilla and the marshmallow notes smell amazing!
Body Mist: Ten Digit Creations (etsy) Sunday Morning-intoxicating combination of a nutty sweet cream on a bed of freshly grated nutmeg and carmelized pecans. The tempting notes of ground almond, marzipan and thick vanilla are swirled with a brown sugar bouquet! This is fantastic gourmand scent, it smells like pecan sticky buns, makes me hungry just wearing this LOL!

Had fun today with Cocoa Pink's linen mist in Pink Bonfire. Spritzed myself all over after getting dressed, including my hair, and gave the closet and bed a good freshening up. I can't wait to get more of these linen mists.

Scents I have used over the past couple of days:
Moonalisa Holiday Retreat Potion Lotion
Solstice Scents Jack and the Devil perfume sample~ this is very nice. It is almost full bottle worthy, but I still have several more samples to get through and need to limit what I buy.
Solstice Scents Witches Cottage perfume sample~ too light for me
Solstice Scents Manor perfume-Love this!

What do you like about Manor? Is it a fresh scent? Yep, I'm being lazy about looking up the description. Posted Image

Today I finished up the Candledippers Plum Lucious cream soap. Good stuff. Tomorrow morning I'll get to start a Lathers & Lights Honey Blossom scrub (total decadence)

I had Plum Lucious...Bought it based on your recommendation Jules, and it was wonderful!
Here's the description of Manor:

Woody-Vanilla Musk, Vanilla Accord, Glorious Black Agarwood & Exquisite AloeswoodManor is the scent of a once grand estate, now disheveled, forgotten and left exposed to the elements. The faint scent of previous owners and their esteemed guests - exquisitely perfumed ladies mingling with the intense rich and musky scent of smartly dressed gentlemen - meets rich wood floors and heavy wooden doors long since opened, decaying beadboard and Wainscot topped off with a thin layer of dust. It is very sophisticated and absolutely intoxicating.

The scent is sweet, woody and incensey. The black agarwood is literally to die for. On initial application and coldsniff, the agar and aloeswood are a little stronger than they are on the dry down. Manor settles down wonderfully. After hours on the skin it does smell much sweeter due to the vanillas, though the woody/incense element is still detectable.

I had my husband tell me his thoughts before he heard the description, and then after. He rated it a 5 out of 10 beforehand and said it smelled like something was rotting. I gave him a hint and asked if he smelled decaying wood. Yup...He said I hit the nail on the head. AFTER I read him the description, he bumped his rating down to a 4 out of 10 ! Said it wasn't a sexy scent at all, and he didn't really like it. MY OPINION (and the only one that counts when it counts to MY perfumes :soapbox: )is that Manor is gorgeous. There's more to it than decaying wood. I smell a sultry musk, vanilla, and I even get the whiffs of fine perfume (it's not cloying). You know if it's a Solstice scent, it's going to be different. It is unusual, but in a good way. It's a very grown up scent, it relaxed me, and I would buy it in a perfume and matching body butter.

Edited to add that I would not categorize Manor as a Fresh scent. If you want something a bit more fresh, I would say to try Snowshoe Pass, which I am testing right now.

I love how the Solstice scents change as they dry down. Manor sounds really good to me, actually. It seems like a good autumn scent, around Halloween when things are more haunted.

Moonalisa Faustine soap~ nice scent...adore the pink lather! Would love to try this in another medium.
Moonalisa Holiday Retreat Potion Lotion
Solstice Scents Pharaoh perfume sample~ I had high hopes for this one as I was looking for a gorgeous Eqyptian Musk and Angela recommended I try her Pharaoh. Unfortunately, the honey note in this doesn't agree with me. :(

I'm on a Cake Beauty kick because they had a great sale on Thanksgiving (various percents off different products, from 25%-50% I think) AND I used a code for an additional 30% off. That put their products in a suitable price range for me, lol... Very expensive normally.

I'm wearing Snow Woman lotion (vanilla cream scent) and a sample of their new perfume, Indulge. Indulge is nice but reminds me a lot of Pink Sugar. Maybe a little more "mature" though.

Boogie: Do you think the Jack in the Devil is stronger than Manor? I had JITD perfume and ended up giving it to a friend because it just wasn't right on me..I do love many of SS unique scents. One I really love and have as a glossing spray in Lace Draped Spectre. today I found some CYS roll-ons in Dream a Little Dream and Beholden. I really love Harvest Sugar from there and need to order some more of that soon. I need ot quit ordering and start wearing this stuff every day!!!

Jack and the Devil is a stronger scent than Manor because Jack has pumpkin in it. It wasn't a super spicy bakery pumpkin, but more of a wearable, sexy pumpkin blend and it lasted ALL DAY on me. Quality stuff. Manor lasted all day too, but is more of a subtle scent....not as intense as Jack.

I love Lace Draped Spectre, too. [smilie=th_slider_flirt]

I remember having CYS' Beholden in a tart and thought it was one of the most beautiful scents I have ever smelled. You are lucky to have it in a perfume. Dream a Little Dream must be nice. I just looked at the scent description on the CYS website. We must be scent twins because I like earthy scents, too. [smilie=th_fabulous1]

Love hearing what everyone is wearing it constanly gives me new idea for scent wish lists [smilie=kewl]
For the week:
Scrubs: Nikory Bath Treats artfire Bubbling Sugar Scrub in Berry Brit-this is a dupe of Burberry Brit and I have sniffed the actual perfume and it smells pretty close to the original, it is very perfumey with flowers and a hint of vanilla really like it, the scrub is not too scruby but it does leave my skin really soft!!
Cleanse Your Soul Foaming Sugar Scrub Vanilla Bean Noel and My Soul Does Sing, this combo smells roasted caramel pears topped with vanilla bean ice cream, LOVE this :)

Soaps: Ariels Secret Garden Lemon Sugar Candied Violets soap bar-this smells stronger on the lemon than the violets, it is a nice scent to use in the morning because it is tart and energizing and
Savor's creme fraiche whipped soap in Pumpkin Ice Cream-like that I can smell the cinnamon in this!

Body Creams: Cocoa Pinks Coco Mango Body Butter in Goblin (this pairs really well with CP's Black Noel!) and White Sugar Cocoa Mango Body Butter

Perfumes: CP's White Sugar-wear during the day and CP's Black Noel at night-I love that this have an alluring apeal to it and I like using this with my Goblin body butter because Goblin give it more of slightly sweeter vanilla kick
