Received the following in my email today:

"Good morning candles friends

Have a lot of news, on May 10 th I am closing my ebay store..with all the new ebay changes and rules I have decided to move the majority of my items over to a web site, this has been in the planning for a bit, just got the trademark for candles from the keeping room, and other molds and exculsive scents..I am still selling on ebay but not listing sell out scent, i am making those and tons more new and holding them for the web site...my grand opening for the web site will be July 1.. you can go to the web site now and sign up for the newsletter so you can be notified of sales and fun items that we will be putting on...this tuesday I will be listing more samplers of alot of the scents that i remaking...I am not allowed by ebay rules to give you a clickable link, but my new site address is

http:// candlesfromthekeepingroom. com/

so not sure if this will work..you will just have to take the spaces out or type in what you are seeing

I will reopen the ebay store with a few items..and that will be sometime the end of June...

As always a pleasure doing business with you, if you have an questions here is the link to my store and you can contact me thru that for now.

Yes, it is great news. It should make ordering much easier than on Ebay. I have signed up for the newsletter.

Her being on eBay is one of the main reasons why I haven't ordered yet. I found the "store" really overwhelming with all the scent choices and difficult to navigate. Looking forward to her opening her own site!

I'm so excited for her to have a website :) I can't wait to order on nthere! I will miss being able to buy bags of tarts, wait a few days for more stuff to be posted, and then just have them all added to the same invoice and pay at once.

I am excited for all of us. I imagine this was a huge step for her, but in the long run, I think it will be much better for her. I agree navigating a website will be easier than navigating through pages of EBAY so she will probably pick up more customers.

I agree the e-bay store is overwhelming. I look forward to her own site, too!

I will be ordering from her when she opens her own store. Have not wanted to deal with all the pages to wade through on ebay.

I'm glad to hear this! I've always wanted to try her tarts but refused to patronize eBay (they really have made it unfriendly for sellers... good for her for making the move). I'll have to sign up for her newsletter. [smilie=th_smiley_emoticons_hurr

I don't know that I have anything against eBay, but I never ordered from Carol because I was unwilling to deal with the eBay interface for something like tarts...the idea of ordering everything separately and then combining it just made it seem not worth it to me. But I will definitely be keeping an eye on her new website!

I am really glad to see this. I like her tarts, but rarely ordered because it was such a pain.
