It drives me batty when I go to bookmark a candle website and instead of the company's name, they've got a whole stream of advertisement in the heading.

I just want the name so I can sort them alphabetically. I end up having to delete all the other words. It's not a big deal, but it annoys me to no end.

I feel better now.

Hi Jules... What browser are you using? I used to delete everything in the name field also until I realized in IE 8 I don't have to delete anything. (i believe it was the same in IE 7) If the name field is highlighted in blue, which it usually is, I just start typing and whatever is in there is typed over.

In FireFox the name field is also highlighted in blue and I just start typing.

I used to use FF most of the time but in version 3.6.15 for some odd reason it was changed and now it is difficult to put a bookmark in the folder of choice. Not sure if FF has an updated version, I haven't checked recently.

I do prefer FF but this bookmark issue is a pain and I have been too lazy to look into it. It's just easier to go to another browser.

I have also tried Chrome and it is faster but I do like FF.

Currently I use Chrome. I think it does highlight the whole thing in blue, but I'd rather just click the bookmark tab instead of typing the name out. Lazy I guess. Some of them already have the company name in that field. That's the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it. Posted Image

Thank you for the help. I never really thought to just start typing over it. I sit here and delete, delete, delete by hand up to where the name starts. Doh! I'm going to try it your way. Less frustrating.
