What Lasting Scent Candles had to say:

My name is Pam Jameson and I am the owner of Lasting Scent Candles.I started LSC in 2002 and have been making Candles and Wax melts off and on till this past year where I have been able to put 100% of my heart and soul into everything I do.I have been married 19 years to a wonderful and I have to say Very Supportive Husband. When I started my Web Site I was not expecting the overwhelming response that I received in the last 6 months ( I feel very blessed especially in todays times) which has delayed me from making my Bath & Body products and homemade CP Soap (Which I love to do) My Scented Tarts have completely taken over everything. I am still planning on bringing everything to my site as soon as time allows me to do so..My scented tarts are a Parasoy blend they are not 100% soy like some make think although 80% is indeed soy. I test All my products throughly before being put up for sale so my customers can feel confident when they purchase from me.I am a bit of a perfectionist and believe that first impressions mean everything.
I have to say that the Scents that I blend myself tend to sell a little better than others. My Pink Sugar blends have become very popular along with my Tea and Coffee Blends. I love to mix scents so please don't hesitate to contact me to mix one for you.I have over 300 scents, but thought that my customers were feeling a bit over whelmed with all the choices so I shortened my scent list.Feel free to contact me also if you are looking for a scent, I probably will have it. I want to Thank all my wonderful customers for all the great reviews and feedback.

Pam :)

there is NOT enough room on this forum for me to rave on LSC

[smilie=th_funny] Amen, sista! I'm right there beside you. I rave so much about LSC I fear I'm starting to sound like a plant. But really, truly, honestly, I have no connection with Pam at all. Unless you count me as her number one fan.

Gail, sounding like a broken record. Does anybody even have records anymore?

Records!
I remember the day I got aged on that one. I showed my kids one of my old "albums" and they said "it's like a big CD"

Okay, Gail, since you're obsessed with LSC as well, fess up:
did it strike fear in your heart even just a little bit when you read
"
which has delayed me from making my Bath & Body products and homemade CP Soap (Which I love to do) My Scented Tarts have completely taken over everything.
When I read that, my heart lurched in my chest and skipped a beat as the thought
OH NO, WHAT IF SHE STOPS DOING TARTS
flashed in my brain!
Heaven Forbid! Perish the Thought! It would be an unsurvivable event!
So what to do?
a. give her a break?
or
b. hoard, hoard hoard!

If her cold process soap is half as good as her melts, I hope she finds time to git on that. I would line up for some soap.

I'm imagining Honey Vanilla Love Dust in a bar of creamy, lathered goodness. Posted Image

I can't rave enough about her either - she is very quality-conscious, which show in how awesome her tarts are. I don't need to mention how much I love Chocolate Mint Latte, do I?

I think I'd cry if she gave up wax for B&B. It would definitely be a hoard situation.

Has anyone tried any of her Pet Products? My dogs can be fragrant in a, um, not so good way so maybe they need a spritz of spray.

How does the wishlist work? I looked at the page but didn't see anything. Am I having a blonde moment or is it mostly blank?

Dunno, Stardust - maybe it is not set up? I am getting blanks!

I love the scent blends! I think that is what makes some of our fav vendors so unique, the ability to create their own custom fragrances!

I saw on her FB that the roads there are iced over. No post office today.

What is your favorite Lasting Scent scent so far?

I hope things clear up for her (and many others) soon!

I already have several favorites from here including Apple Butter Pound Cake, Birthday Cake, Hollanburst, Violet Lime. So many more! I'll get around to trying them all. You know, for research. [smilie=th_cc8]

I agree about the unique blends, Deb. I wish she offered a scent creator. That would make it even more fun!

I still do. [smilie=th_5337c1ad] I've only tried 3 scents so far, but am really impressed with each of them. They DO last a long time - luv that! [smilie=th_dancing_smile] I really like a vendor that makes their own blends. I like to buy those over a scent I can get from lots of other places. If she has lots more scents than those she has listed, I'd like to know about em. [smilie=th_200912104451] If not on her description pages, at least put a list of them up, so I'll know. Then if one's there that I'm looking for (all of em! ) or one sounds especially interesting, then I'd email & ask. Might be me, but sometimes I just want to order and not email back and forth.

Gee... my fave is... hmmm.... nobody will ever guess this...

Chocolate Mint Latte! [smilie=th_thwoohoonaner2gy]

I like some others I've had too, Peppermint Cypress and Sweet Snow, but CML is my #1.

I also wish she'd list them all. Yeah, a big list can be overwhelming, but it's still fun to sort through all of them and pick what you want. I like that better than a rotating group of available / not available.

This thread is great!

Laurie, I think I'd be stricken ill if she stopped making tarts in favor of other products. And yet, Jules' Honey Vanilla Love Dust soap sounds completely divine. I think more than anything, I'd like it if Pam would just clone herself. [smilie=th_lol22]

I sure can't speak for Pam, but I do know that she put Vanilla Voo Doo back on her list, so she obviously is very receptive to her customers' wishes.

A favorite scent? [smilie=th_sSig_what] Impossible to choose only one! Nearly all that I've tried have a big ol' "A+" rating on my spread sheet. But I'll give it a go... It's Vanilla Voo Doo!!! But other top contenders are: Berry Bliss, Cinnamon Apple Berry, Cinnamon Vanilla, Country Store, Country Grove, Wild Mountain Honey, ad infinitum.

Who wants to win a dozen LSC melts? Anyone? Anyone? Keep chit chatting away in this thread and the first person who happens to mention one of the three facts I am thinking about will win. It's that simple!

Contest will remain open through February 6th, 11:59PM CST.

Have fun!

Okey dokey, so the contest motivated me to thoroughly check out Pam's website. As if I haven't done that dozens of times already. [smilie=th_foolish1] It's really interesting that she has a Gift Registry. I never noticed that before. Is that a common feature for wax vendors, I wonder. [smilie=th_F_14WA116161617] Me likey!

I'm intrigued by the fact that she makes "after bath" spray for pets! (with matching shampoo, of course)
You should check out the scent descriptions on them - they rival any body spray I've ever used. Mmmmmm
I've got a couple of dogs who could certainly benefit. My chocolate lab rides with me to pick up the kids every day, we spend a lot of time in the car line (me reading, him snoozing), and on many a day, he's "fragrant", but not in a nice way. LOL I actually have a little bottle of body spray that I spritz on such occasions, and just so the kids don't make the "ewwww" face (accompanied by "ohhhhh Bear! yuk).

I think one of these may just jump into my cart next time I'm ordering. I also noticed they come for dogs AND cats - (I don't have any cats), but would a cat actually let you body spray them? Raaawr!
:D

I don't know about a cat "letting" anyone do anything, but when ours was a kitten I noticed that she was smelling really good, not cat-like at all. Come to find out, my son had been spritzing her with my perfume. Posted Image Posted Image

That'd be one good smellin' cat! [smilie=th_Skratta_Bankabordet] When I was doing therapy visits with my dogs, they always had to be freshly bathed and, uh, unobjectionable in every way. I used doggie perfumes, one was baby powder scented and the other was apple. People used to comment and even inhale deeply into their fur, but I'm not sure the dogs appreciated the scenting, given their powerful sense of smell. [smilie=th_shocked_sick_big]

Instead of pet sprays, I'd be much more likely to buy the Linen Mist or Aroma Mist sprays. I can only imagine the joy of falling asleep on a White Tea & Berries scented pillow! [smilie=th_slider_bigsleep] At $5.75 for 4 oz., the price is doable and the labels are gorgeous! Have you guys looked at these? Great gift ideas too! [smilie=th_dancing_smile]

yes, Yes, YES!
I could definately go for some linen spray!
The towels in my kids' bathroom are sometimes
well, shall we say,
less than lusciously fragranced!
:o
I also saw some interesting roll-on perfume, I haven't had a roll on since I was a kid. But the page seems not to be working for me.
Hmmmm. . . . .
Maybe the site is still under construction because the FAQ section is also empty.

It only needs one Q & A:

Q: Are these great products?
A: yes, Yes and YES!
:D

Hi I am new here and a total tartaholic these days! Lasting Scent Candles is on my "to try" list and will most likely be my next order. I really want to try some of her custom blends :-)

You're so funny, Laurie! Have I told you how much I enjoy your posts? You're a great addition to the forum, buddy! [smilie=th_smiley_emoticons_hurr

I wonder if some of the products aren't "clickable" because there isn't anything available yet. [smilie=th_idontknow]

So do you gals like the scent description list being divided up by category or not? It's okay, but my preference is alphabetical.

ETA: Hi Proudmama! You won't be disappointed! And welcome, BTW!
