Have any of you done this whole candle/tart swap before? I swapped with another on the CBV message board . I sent my package out to her last Wed early morning, and she did the same. I got her's on Fri and she has yet to receive mine. Of course I didn't do it "priority" and have no proof of anything at this point. I'll call my PO tomorrow but really, what can they do? Has this ever happened to anyone before. It's been a full 8 days. I'm in Pa and she's in TN. Shouldn't take this long.

Don't worry yet... the weather has been horrible and has slowed things down considerably. Since the Priority Mail gets priority (heh!) the other stuff gets slowed down when there's a delay. If you sent it parcel post, it could take a couple of weeks.

The post office has had a lot of cutbacks and closures in the last year. That addes to the delay too.

All true and exactly what I told her via email. It was a first time swap for both of us and I just home she's not questioning whether I sent it out or not. Feel bad that I got hers already. I even made sure to give her some extras in there just to say thanks for the swap and all.
