I have a couple of those candle warming plates, and thought I could use them in my kids rooms during the day when they aren't there.....can I use any ceramic dish on them to melt tarts? Or any suggestions? Thanks :)

I'd think so, since ceramic is heat-resisitant. Pyrex glass would be good too, or metal. Have fun! [smilie=th_76d65c2f]

If you are looking to buy something, you might try the nonstick metal tart tins from Can-Do. They really work great.

The site is:

Just scroll down. Just a thought.

I use those Can-do tins all the time. A coffee cup works well too. I wouldn't drink out of it after, though.

I also use those white ceramic ramekin dishes. They take all kinds of abuse in cooking so I figured they would be safe!
