My condolences to you for your loss, Maurie.

It's gloomy here but I love it because it's RAINING!! We have such a bad drought and the plants really need the water.

I'm burning CBV Green Apple, Warm Glow Caramel Corn, and Pumpkin Patch from Candles for Everyone (which doesn't have much scent but makes a pretty light). It's a nice day to burn candles... they seem a bit wasted on a sunny day.

Fleur, I've missed you, and I'm sure everyone else has too! So good to "see" you here on occasion. You're darned good at the Hollywood game! Me, not so much. How's Daisy? Enjoy the apple festival!

Maurie, thinking of you, sweetie...

Sweet, thank you!

I'm melting FM's Dreamsicle Frosting. It's out of this world good! See me up there on cloud nine? [smilie=cloud_9]

Have a lovely weekend, everyone.

Gail

Hi PuppyLove,
My pup Bailey is doing great. She is a love. Hope all is well with you. The Apple Festival was fun!

Fleur, my apologies. For some reason, I thought your girlie was named Daisy. [smilie=th_fear8] Glad to hear she's doing fine.

I'm melting SSS Pink Lemonade, a perfect companion on "wipe up the dust and scoop out the dirt" day. [smilie=th_sign0162]

Fleur--so good to hear from you and to know that all is well.

Well, I hit the BBW sale again today and came away with a bunch of candles. I have fallen in love with their three wick ones and have really been enjoying them a lot so figured I might as well stock up while they are on sale.

For this evening it is Yankee Orchard Pear two wick large tumbler. After using these large Yankee tumblers I will never go back to the regular large jars. It is refreshing to be able to actually burn a Yankee jar without babysitting it all the time.

Hope you all have a great night.

Maurie--can't get you out of my thoughts--it is obvious you are really hurting and I really feel for you.
Today is the tomorrow that worried you yesterday and all is well.

This late, rainy afternoon I am melting CYS-Fall Foilage. This is a good, strong Fall scent. I am also burning Colonial-Fireside votive. I am not getting much scent from this one. Also melting AMS Caramel Apples in my FR. This is a nice scent, but lighter than I expected.

You guys are an amazing group. I knew I keep coming back to here for a reason. Its a very warm and inviting feeling. Even after being away for some time.

Well, my mom came over earlier and she is still very upset. She is headed back over to be with the family in her BF's house. The one daughter is going to try and hold on to the house for the family,by moving her family in. They need a place to keep coming back to that reminds them of mom and family. The house is huge and her husband will not be able to keep it up alone. They are a strong Christian family and will have a hard struggle ahead of them but they do find a deep peace knowing her faith went with her and made her feel safe too. I can't even type without getting all choked up.

Battery dying on the boys computer so I better get off here. He will come home from work to no computer.

Still working on my Banana Coconut Cream Pie candle from CBV.

Skylar - that must be one she's working on cuz I don't see it on her list. Is the 'amish' part spices? [smilie=th_235F35F32]

Susan- good to C U melting today. Hope that means you're feeling better. [smilie=th_dancing_smile]

Hi Fleur! [smilie=The_Hi] Glad to C U here again!

Maurie - thanks for keeping us updated. We share your tears. [smilie=th_empathy] I agree, this is a caring, lovely group and am glad we can all come here for friendship and encouragement. [smilie=th_friends]

I'm melting YC's Harvest Welcome (Be Thankful + Autumn Wreath). Awesome combo! [smilie=th_smilies-2]

Well, I plan on being around alot more. I love a couple of other forums. But, I much prefer a place to come that is neutral and not created for any other reason, than wax talk. I also like to be able to talk about many different companies. [smilie=th_smiley_emoticons_hurr

I also love the fact that nobody here forgot me. Well, maybe some of the very new girls.....but thats ok. I am easy to get to know. Hope you give me a chance. [smilie=th_myspacepunked_sign000

Maurie, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how you are hurting and it seems like it won't go away. But thankfully time eases all pain. Be good to yourself!

Today was a great day, the weather was sunny and cool. My family and I went to a Octoberfest oh my gosh it was fun, the food, beer and music.

When we got home my daughters and I went to YC for the sale. Perfect day!

I have melting YC Apple Cider.

trep...... hi! [smilie=th_76d65c2f]

Hi to all my candle buds! [smilie=th_prod_107_1676]

Fleur, I'm glad to have helped. Kind, humane dog training is what I live for. Well, that and wax. [smilie=th_lol22]

Debra, I'm not Trep, but [smilie=th_200912104451] the BBW candle sale is still going on.

I just started a new candle, Haley's Apple Orchard. My nose can't tell any difference between this one and Red Delicious Apple. Is this a complaint? Ohhhhhhh noooooooooo, not on your life! [smilie=th_smilies-2]

Maurie - Very sorry for your loss.

Gail - Sorry your weekend didn't turn out as planned.

I too have had problems with posting and changing my avatar. It is good to know it isn't just me or my computer.

This evening I'm burning GC - Caramel Apple and just loving it! :D

Hi guys,

Just lit up Haley's Candied Apple. This was a gift from my best friend Cindy. Thank you girl.

Nothing new here. Just doing laundry today and getting some clothes together for the funeral on Tuesday. My husband has lost so much weight since being unemployed that I am not sure what the heck will fit him. Maybe some pants from my skinny son......LOL

Geez my life is upside down right now. I have faith though that all will turn around. It has to soon. I will not lose my faith.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone. Probably check back later and see what everyone is enjoying. [smilie=th_5337c1ad]

Today so far is Yankee Orchard Pear and Mainstays Juicy Apple--both candles. I have quit doing tarts again as I just can't keep from literally buying thousands of them. Since I only use 2 a day you can tell I get overloaded pretty quickly so I am sticking with candles. Even if I wanted to there is no way I could every store or afford thousands of candles so maybe this will work. [smilie=th_idontknow]

Just started a new candle in the kitchen. I have broken out a brand new Country Fair Funnel Cake 16oz. from CBV. So, the combo of that and Haley's Candied Apple is very yummylicious.
