Hey Candlefinders!

I've finally bitten the bullet and am switching to an all new forum software... the change is being made this week. So, don't be shocked when you log on Saturday morning to an all new forum and design.

Pending no weird catastrophes, my goal is to have this change implemented by this weekend. So - after tomorrow, the forum you see now will no longer be in existence. To make this happen, I have to shut this one down so we can dump all the data here and move it to the new one. This will take at least a day - so... beginning Thursday night - tomorrow night (not sure what time exactly), this board will be closed. As soon as the data is moved and everything is tested and squared away on the new forum, we'll make it live.

Aside from an all new design with a ton of new features, the new forum will no longer sit inside the Candlefind frame but will open as a new page. That means nothing really other than uploading pictures will no longer be an issue as far as what size they have to be. We've already run many tests and it should be a pretty smooth transition, it's just moving all the threads and registered users from here to there that will take all the time.

This new forum is AWESOME and has so many more features than this one, I think you'll be very happy. For those of you familiar with the BathAndBodyFind forum, this transition will be a piece of cake as it's basically the same software but the latest version. For those who are not familiar with that forum, this will be a totally different change with a new learning curve. No worries - it's not super hard to figure out, just different.

When you see the new board for the first time, you'll be asked to log in. Your existing passwords to your accounts should work. When you're in, you'll have to go into your profile and reload your Avatars. Once there, you'll be able to customize your profile settings which has a lot more features than this one.

Lots of good changes!! And if there is any delay making this happen during the times above, I'll post here letting you all know. But, the above dates are what I'm shooting for.

Once the new forum is in place, we'll set up a thread to use as a "help section" for those that need help navigating the new forum. I'll post this in a few sections of the forum tonight to make sure no one overlooks reading it.
