Hi all,

Purchases made through the link below will help a kitty! Orders can be placed until Tuesday. I am not affiliated with Scentsy or Shadow Cats, just a huge animal lover. The person who runs Shadow Cats is a member of an online health forum for cats that I am also a member of. Christina said it's ok to post -- thank you!

You can still support Shadow Cats by placing your order online here www.scentsy.us/wickless-makes-scents We receive a significant percentage of all sales placed through our party. Online orders will be mailed directly from the company to your home. Alaska to Texas, California to Florida- doesnt matter where you live!
I have been using this product now for over two weeks and I can tell you I love it! These scented warmers smell wonderful and are without the hazard of open flame candles. Order now and help a cat!

Here is their website in case you decide to purchase and want to see who you are supporting: www.shadowcats.net The Kitty Cam will take you to Cookie's Place, where the Feline Leukemia cats live.

Thanks for taking a look. I'm off to see what they have!

Hi Monalissa,

Thanks for the information on Shadow Cats and Scentsy. I just placed an order. I have 3 cats right now, and I'm working with a feral cat who is living in our backyard so I can bring him in to be neutered and fully vetted. I was able to socialize his mom, who was also living outside, and now she is part of our family! It takes a lot of patience, but it is so worth it.

After losing one of my cats earlier this year to kidney failure, we adopted a sweet 3 year old torti from our local shelter. I wish more people would look at the older cats to adopt and not just the kittens. I wish I could have taken them all!

Hmm that is great they are doing an online party for the kittys. But I don't understand though how this is allowed. Its still advertising a consultants website. call me confused. :P maybe I shouldn't try to understand the reasoning? [smilie=th_slider_flirt]

Well, I think it's because a specific rep is not benefiting, and the ones who do benefit are the cats. There is no profit. It's all for a good cause! I also asked before posting the info.

edited for spelling!

That's awesome that you do rescue work in your own backyard! We've done some TNR and also find it very rewarding. We have to take a break for a while because one of our 5 cats is a delicate little thing and we can't risk bringing in outside animals anymore. At least until we have a bigger place. Good luck with your feral!

Do you have any scent suggestions? I have to keep my order small, so I am aiming for 3 clamshells. My stash is out of control. [smilie=th_confused3]

Monalissa,

The order I placed was for one of their melters. I have so many melts and brittle, I really don't need anymore. I have never used any of their scents, so I am sorry I am of no help! This is my first order of anything from Scentsy. When I heard it would help cats, I jumped right on it. Thanks again for the info.

Lisa:

What a great idea. If I did Scentsy I would order but I don't. I too am an animal lover too and try to support those animal charities that are near and dear to my heart. I have made a vow that next year I will try to give even more money. It's SO worth it.

Last year I started sending new toys to Pasado's Safe Haven, located near Seattle. They give toys, food, bedding, blankets, etc. to the pets of the homeless during the holiday season and it is such a joy to think I am helping.

Our local Humane Society, Kitsap Humane Society, has started accepting toys too so I bought for them as well. I like to see what is on their "wish list" and help fill the tree at the local insurance agency, who in turns takes the items out to the shelter. Again, I feel blessed that I am able to help.

So sorry to get off topic but I feel any worthwhile charity that is doing this type of work is a good thing and worthy of a post on the forum.

Felitsa, the melters are gorgeous. Enjoy!

Cisley, that's awesome that you donate toys! What a great way to help.
