This company is on my list of vendors to try, however, I have heard some negative things about the packaging and the scent throw isn't very strong. What are everyone's experiences with this company? How is the scent throw for the tarts? How are the peppermint blends? It seems like they have a lot!

I just placed an order today for the Snowman Box of tarts. I love her stuff. Again, what I may percevie as strong may not be to you or the air flow in your home may be different. Her scents are unique and wonderful in my opinion. HTH

Her packaging is not my favorite. Well, not so much how the tarts are packaged, but how they are packed for transit. Some cups ends up a bit cracked because no padding is used.

As for her scents, I also think they are very unique. Some are stronger than others, just like any company. I think it's worth a try!

The tarts are in the cups, what I like for easy storage. I received my order with no damage or packaging problems.

As far as throw, some are stonger than others, I would not say they are long lasting but I enjoyed them a lot, basically every single one I got I loved the scent, mostly pink sugar blends.

I cut them in half.

I recommend to try her tarts, there was a thread with list of recommendations, if you are interested in trying Pink Sugar blends.

I'm a big fan of CYS. The scents really appeal to me. Her peppermint blends are quite good.
Try Jolly Happy Soul.

Also try the Vanilla Bean Noel blends and Pink Sugar blends.

A few of my favorites are:

Blue Like Jazz
Bahia Honda
Monet's Garden
Autumn Song
Blue Christmas
Silent Stars
Pumpkin Pie Noel
Coral Sugar
Blue Sugar Cake
Spiced Caramel Crunch
Pink Satsuma
Pineapple Jasmine
Over the Moon
ALL of the Geographical scents

I'm with Jules on this one! I also have to say that CYS is my very favorite vendor, primarily because she has a lot of unique scents, which I have found to generally have a good throw.

I order from her on a pretty regular basis and tend to use up my CYS while other goodies get put aside... To be honest, I would probably be pretty content ordering only from her, but those sales get me every time!!

Count me in on the CYS bandwagon! I love her stuff! Yes, some of her scents are a little lighter than others but she can BLEND like no other!!! Love her bakery and fruity in particular! Lately, it seems they get stronger if they sit....don't know if that has any fact behind it but it seems to work for me. [smilie=th_slider_flirt]

I also like her products because you can get some things from CYS that you can't get anywhere else. I have had a couple of cracked lids but no big deal.

I don't especially like the wax though because I have to pour it for easy clean up versus CFTKR or Crosscreek that I can just pop out. Some scents are not as strong as others but hey, that happens with all vendors.

I'd give them a try. They are on my short list of vendors.

although I have not ordered, I do plan to because she does have some unique scents I want to try. I don't mind a light throw; as stated it happens with all. Sometimes it is not so much the vendor but the scent itself.

*eta now is the perfect time to try with her sale and $5 shipping all this month.

I also love for brown sugar scrub.

And the hand cream, got it as a sample with my order, sooo strongly scented, that my friend and me have been using this instead of perfume on our recent Florida Keys trip, the scent was Breeze in the Keys, great lemom lime mix with a very tiny bit of coconut. I am going to get her full size for Christmas, she loved the scent.

I bought a lot from her last sale. I love her scent blends and the tart cups. However overall I do not consider them to be very strong. Having said that I like really strong scents, so what I call moderate others may call strong! [smilie=th_confused3]

I like strong ones too! It seems like kind of a waste of money to get something you really can't smell. What are your strongly scented favorites Dabba?

I really enjoy CYS. I've only ordered scalloped tarts before and the packaging is just fine. Like many others, I enjoy her unique scents. Pumpkin Lavender Vanilla is good along with Bahia Honda, Autumn Song, Blue Sugar, Poolside Pink, Blue Noel.....

Also love the dry oil spray

There are a lot of unique blends I have found I enjoy from CYS. I have not had any packaging issues and have always had excellent customer service. Some scents I've found stronger than others, but I've found that from any vendor I've tried. Also it depends on placement for me - Disney Dreams was killer in my guest bedroom, but I could barely smell 4 of them in my living area.

Ones I really like:
7Up Pound Cake (this one was pretty strong for me)
Autumn Song
Baked Lemon Vanilla (really strong for me)
Beautiful One
Birthday Cake
Blood Orange blends
Blueberry Cinnamon Roll
Brown Sugar blends
Darling Clementine (good orange scent)
Disney Dreams
Neopolitan Ice Cream Cake
Neroli Lime
Red Velvet Cake
Red Velvet Double Wedding Cake
Sugar Sprinkle Cake
all of the Geographical scents

She is having a great sale right now - I think it would be worth a try. Her scent list is huge and you may find something that really appeals to you.

how do they compare to nenes in which others think are not that strong?
I am trying to figure out which one vendor I will order from. Heres what I am trying to pick from:
crosscreek-christmas scents
candle dippers-mix of who knows
nenes
cleanse your soul

I am also a Neroli Lime fan!

I am curious what type of melter you use if you are getting a strong throw? Love, love, love the scents, but I can't seem to get strong scenting.

Hey, Debra - I mainly use electric melters. I think they are 24W. I'd have to check to be sure. I've gotten good throws in bedrooms and bathrooms (not the master).
