I have a question for the Scentsy lovers. My girlfriend just asked to go to a party with her and showed me a catalog. Has anyone tried the plug-ins? And how do you like their warmers? They look beautiful and I really would like to order a melter and a plug-in, but would like some feed back. Thanks! [smilie=th_76d65c2f]

Hi Terrie

I have Scentsy warmer (Borneo) and am very happy with it.

You are right, they are beautiful and great quality, definitelly not cheap looking as some other melters and I think it is worth to invest in them.

I love that they are lightbulb melters and give little light, almost as a candle, very nice and you can have them all night on.

They are great with Scentsy melts but you can use them also with other company's wax (I have success with LOL, Blue Gecko, AMS, Hayle's and CFTKR), but I would suggest to use them with softer wax, not sure how they would perform with Can-do or Yankee.

I dont have any plug-ins but my friend has one on the way, I will see once she receives it, but the one I saw on the party was quite big, bigger than I tought they are.

I have my second Scentsy melter on the way together with some clams and I CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!

Terrie, I have 7 Scentsy melters in my house, 6 deluxe melters and one plug-in. They are really beautiful and decorative. Excellent quality, too. I have also had very good results melting other vendors wax in them. I've used CHC, EW, Blue Gecko, LOL, Pure Scents and others. The plug-ins are bigger than I thought they'd be, too. The one I have is called Dandy (cherry color). It looks neat in a dark room because it kind of glows red.

I use my Scentsy burner at work and it works good with all tarts-paraffin and soy and blends. I have the Sandstone one, it goes well with my office decor. I love Scentsy and really need to bite the bullet and join so I can get a discount. I haven't tried the plug ins but am thinking of getting one soo. They are pretty neat looking.

Count me in as a Scentsy fan. I use their warmers with their wax, but I have also used many different vendors wax as well and they do fine. I only have the regular sized warmers, I haven't tried the plug in ones yet.

Thank you all for the information. I am for sure getting a warmer and a plug-in. Plus some of their scents sound wonderful. I see in the catalog that you can save money when you order a warmer and get three scents, so I'm going for the warmer and the plug-in deals. Can't wait until the party. I'll let you all know what I get.

Have fun at the party, Terrie! You are going to love it!
I have lots of Scentsy full-size warmers as well as the same Dandy Cherry Plu-in that Mpfand has and I love them all! The plug-ins are definitely larger than expected and look fabulous!
The price for the warmers and wax is worth it in my opinion--good quality , beautiful home decor accents, plus long lasting , fragrant wax!

Rose, you can look on ebay. they have a ton of scentsy stuff but it goes for alot of $$. I guess if it is a discontinued one and folks want it badly, they're willing to pay more.

It might come back next catalog, you just never know what they do. Some times scents leave so that the seasonal ones have room, then in its appropriate season it might make a come back.

I have several of the full size warmers as well as the mid size. I also still use my tea light melters for the waxes that don't do so well in the Scentsy warmers.

Well girls, I went to the party last night and OMG I wanted everything. The stuff is so beautiful. I had to restrain myself with Christmas coming up - so I ordered the warmer called Zeus and also the plug-in called groovy white. The scents I got are: Cinnamon Cider, Cozy Fireplace, Christmas Tree, Rustic Lodge, Snowberry & Autumn Sunset. The best thing is the consultant lives just a few miles from me so I can order any time I feel the need. [smilie=th_bighug-1]

Sounds like a fun time, Terrie. You really do have to see the melters in person. The catalog doesn't do them justice! You chose some fabulous scents. Cinnamon Cider, Snowberry and Autumn Sunset are a few of my favorites. I had Rustic Lodge, but DH confiscated it for his office. LOL! I have Christmas Tree on deck for the holidays! Be sure and let us know how you like your melter once you get it.

I liked the sample I sniffed so I ordered it, it's just that the cold sniff was on the ligher side.

I've tried Hemmingway and love it! It's pretty strong once melted and lasted a long time. One of my favorites.

I just want to report that I received the clamshells I ordered, but not yet the warmet as it is on backorder.

The scents are amazing, just as other Scentsy scents I tired before, very pure and clean smelling. Love, love, love Scentsy.

So glad you're happy with your new goodies! Snowberry is one of my favorite scents for this time of year.
