Jules and Jonnea:

Are Candles by Victoria strong with a great throw? I have never tried any of those products so I'd really be interested in knowing.

Thanks!!!

Cisley

I have bought lots of candles from CBV and they are super strong and have a great throw. It has been my experience that the wicks drowned out sometimes and I don't like that part of it, but the throw keeps me ordering.

IMO Candles by Victoria has the stongest candles that I have ever tried. In her comfort candles line the Espresso Brownie is to die for. Her bakery scents are fantastic.

Espresso Brownie sounds divine. I have never ordered from her. Maybe, in my fall or winter ordering I will give her a try.

Thanks for the tip.

You won't be sorry if you give her candles a try, they are excellent.

Not to be a downer, but I've had issues with CBV's wicks and also with fragrance oil seeping out of the wax.

A downer? I don't think so, an honest opinion is what we are here for. I will give CBV a try with 2 small candles and go from there. I am pretty gun shy with the candles though so I am waivering as I type this.

i know this is an old post but..what i dont like about CBV is she says to let them cure for weeks to a month before you burn them so they can get stronger but i lke to burn mine right away but there are a few of her scents i cant do without that i have to buy even though i let them cure they are SEXY IN STILLETOS, SWEET ANGEL DUST & PINK SUGAR...and she is a very sweet lady with great customer service..

I would probably have to vote for CBV as well. You can't beat the throw and quality for the price, even though paying for shipping is no fun.

But I do think YC has the most beautiful jar candle, hands down. I have several of them around for decorations that I never even light.

I'm another who didnt have the best of luck with CBV. Yes, if you let them cure, they got stronger, but I like to use right away. The best by far for me, is Spotted Hog's Paradise. Omg is that strong. But, and its a biggy, I think the prices are too high. I wish she'd have better sales. And I'll admit I'm love when a vendor gives us a freebie to try. I spent a fortune last time, and nada. I know its not required, but I'm super, duper spoiled by Carol at the Keeping room. Back to CBV, I do love her wax. Its so creamy. I dig whats left from the candle, and melt the rest.
