Well, the tongue thing does drive me batty! And, he tends to oversing everything, and that's just not my style. Kris just seems WAY more down to earth, and I like that he just sings without trying to blast us out of the room with screaming. LOL!

While I'll admit that I was a big fan of Adam in the earlier weeks and he definitely does have a ton of talent, I voted (and for the very first time too) for Kris last week. I was amazed what he did with that Kanye West song. He sings it better than Kanye! I was sooo impressed that I decided to vote for him. I was never a fan of Danny so I'm glad that he's gone although I thought he sang better after they cast him off.

I hope Kris wins. Adam will be a rock star for sure but he's just too over the top of me. Kris seems like a down to earth kind of guy and he's really cute too! Both of them seem like really nice people.

I really like Adam. Extremely talented young man. His vocals are incredible! I'm actually going to the "Idol's Summer Tour" concert in Southern California on July 17th. It should be great considering all the talent from this year's contestants.

Denny, have fun at the concert! I've watched a few you tube videos from the first two concerts of the tour...Adam is really, really awesome! I was going to try to go but the closest concert is about 3 1/2 hours from me on a day that isn't a good day for me to go. But nothing will stop me when he does a solo tour! I also have heard that Matt is great, better than during Idol....will you try to get an autograph after the show?

The Idol Concert was fabulous!

The stand-out performances came from Matt, Allison and Adam IMO. Matt has a lot of talent that really comes out in a live performance. Allison and Adam have great stage presence and really know how to captivate their audience. Allison sang her heart out, owned the stage, and won the hearts of many last night. Adam was truly the show stopper. Before he even walked out on stage everyone stood up in anticipation of something great and that is exactly what he delivered. He came out singing "Whole Lotta of Love" and he also performed "Mad World". Truly a mesmerizing performer.

I went with a good friend of mine and we were also impressed with Scott and Anoop who gave good performances. Matt and Scott performed a dual piano performance of Billy Joel's hit "Tell Her About It" which was awesome. I can't get that song out of my head.

No opportunities for autographs or great pics, but I truly had a great time.

Kris gave a solid vocal performance, but there just wasn't anything memorable there. Few people were standing and he just wasn't engaging. Kris followed Adam and that certainly didn't help any. Actually people started leaving after his first song and they continued to leave during the rest of his performance. It was rather sad.

Sounds like a fantastic concert Denny! I'm having concert envy. Geez, that is sad about people leaving during Kris' songs. I know everyone has paid to attend and will do what they'll do, but unless someone's performance is terrible or offensive (both of which I doubt it was), I think it's rude to leave like that. Just my opinion....
