Does anyone else love their stuff? My Mom put me on to them last year. We love their red pepper flakes. You can really enjoy the flavor without them being too hot.

My Mom and DH's Mom both got me a spice gift box for Christmas this year. These make great presents - they come wrapped so nice with loose bay leaves, cinnamon sticks and nutmegs in the box. One of the spices is called Fox Point. We used this on New Year's Eve for twice baked potatoes and they came out wonderful.

I am working on adding to my new collection with some more staples like cinnamon, garlic etc. Now I need more storage space!

Meeeeeee! I order all of my spices from them! They are the best! After my first order I became a lifetime customer. I could taste the difference between the chili powder that I bought at the store and the one from Penzeys. There is one that is about a 50 minute drive from my house. It's close to my parents' house. Sometimes DH and I will drop DD off at my parents' house and go shopping there.

Yay...another Penzey's lover! What are your favorites?

There's one out of Grand Central that is two blocks from my job. It's more of a stand than a store, so I don't know if they carry everything. I have to make a pit stop there tomorrow. One of the caps in my gift set came broken.

Do you know how to sign up for their catalogue? I hear they give good coupons and recipe ideas, but I can't figure it out!

Their garam masala is amazing! The Southwestern one is great for Mexican dishes like Fajitas. Bouquet Garni is nice for soups. I love their hot Chili Powder and Hot Curry. I didn't care for Rogan Josh but it was a first time recipe so maybe the recipe was no good.

LL - is the Hot Chili Powder *really* hot? I don't know if I should go for medium or hot.

Have fun Fleur!

I love sites like this - thanks for posting! Lisa - what does the Fox Point taste like? Anyone tried the Rocky Mountain or sandwich sprinkle?

Sweet - from memory it has shallots, chives, salt, green peppercorns and maybe one or two other things. It's yummy!

Thanks LL!

I stopped at Penzey's today. I was going to get the Medium Hot Chili Powder, because my Mom said that is comparable to what we usually use. Well, the girl convinced me to pick up their new Chili 9000 seasoning and OMG it smells amazing! I hope it tastes as good when I make chili this weekend!

In a word - Fox Point Seasoning!!! It's great for ANYTHING. I only use Penzey's for all my cooking needs. California seasoned pepper is great for beef and Rocky Mountain seasoning is great for chicken.

I have too many favorite spices from them to list.

Posted Image Oh my, Sweet.. Can you imagine? "Gee, aah, thanks?" "Santa?" That'd be like getting coal, if you were a kid.

I have no idea what to try first, but, I've read lots of positive things about these spices. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I thought I would look for some sort of gift pack or sample pack.

I am plotting a big order from here since i love to cook. I saw that coupon code but I couldn't get it to work for some reason. Hmmm...I guess I will have to call CS and hope they can help me!
