DH and I watched Trucker last night. It was a good story and a little sad, too.

Took DD and her friend to see Marmaduke this afternoon. It was really cute. Wish they made more family friendly movies like this one!

We saw Inception on Friday and loved it. It's a very psychological action/science fiction movie.

I so want to see this movie. So does my 12 year old. Do you think it's too much for a 12 year old?

When i first saw the preview, it looked interesting but was not sure if it was gonna be good. Because it kinda reminded me off "the Box" with Cameron Diaz with its psychologiacl action/science fiction story. and it looked so interesting and was excited to watch it. But was very disappointed when i saw it. but Hmmm... gonna have to rethink that with "Inception". Lol

But have seen Predators which was not bad, it was better then i have expected it to be. Not an awesome movie, but was ok.
Sorceror's Apprentice - thougt it would be interesting like Percy Jackson and the Mt Olympis movie- which i liked, but i didnt like this one.
Karate Kid - I really like it. Had a cute moral of the story. Enjoyed it

My husband and I went to see Inception last night it was amazing. I adored every second of it. It's really well done. Well shot, well imagined, well told. Loved it.

Saw Toy Story 3, thought it was very cute, a little dark. Well done. Satisfying ending.

Saw Predators, enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would.

It might be a little much for a 12 year old, but it depends on the maturity level. The story gets very complex and detailed, keeps you on the edge of your seat and definitely makes you think.

DH and I watched "Up in the Air" last night. He wasn't expecting to like it at all and proclaimed, "This is NOT going to be my type of movie." But he actually enjoyed it. Me too. [smilie=th_slider_flirt]

DH and I watched Chloe the other night. It was very R rated, but a good movie. Kind of reminded me of Fatal Attraction, but with a twist.

We've been going to the movies a lot lately. Besides the Amazing "Iception" we saw "Salt" which was entertaining and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" which I thought was great!

We rented "The Bounty Hunter" with Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. It was so bad we couldn't finish it :)

Well, you certainly didn't miss anything by not finishing it. DH and I rented it last week and were so glad it only cost us $1 from Red Box!

We watched The Road yesterday. I found it slow, dreary, depressing and dialogue heavy. It was interesting enough to watch from beginning to end, but not my list to see again any time soon.

mpfand and dabbadooey- i didnt like the Bounty Hunter either and we went to see it in theaters too. Dissappointing! mpfand, luckily you only rent it at redbox for $1 becuz it was not worth watching it in theater at all. Have seen The Time Travelers Wife in theater when it 1st came out and THAT i like and i agree with you, it sure was moving. [smilie=th_Hnh5]

Saw Inception over the weekend and at 1st i was iffy on going to watch it and finally decided to go for it to see whats all the hype about and you know what..... i like it! I must admit though, it sure is a confusing movie at first. Its the type of movie where you really have to listen and pay attention to every conversation and scenes to get the movie from beginning to end. But after thinking it thoroughly afterward... i understood it and came to really like it. Its different and very unique at how the director christopher nolan came up with such a story. I watched "Shine" last night. Very good story about David Helfgott, a brilliant pianist sidelined by mental illness.

I've been watching oldies lately. Like really old movies. Strangers On a Train, In This Our Life (Bette Davis melodrama), A Streetcar Named Desire, and Network. Next up will be North By Northwest. They don't make 'em like they used to.
