Which candles are you burning or decorating with right now?

I have out my OV Pumpkin Roll in an orange glass jar with a Boo Bears S Topper  I burned it last night, it was so pretty.

I also have out a small Harvest grubby candle in a tin dish with a little bit of pumpkin 'fixins' around it.

I have the new Wildberry Zinger from CHC in the kitchen. I also have the OV Sugar Cookie in the kitchen.

I've been burning YC Autumn Wreath for the past few days. Smells great but the strength/throw is not what I hoped. Next fall I will be in the market for similar, but stronger scents from other vendors. It does smell nice though, and since you have to burn YC's for long periods of time, it doesn't get overwhelming.

Yesterday, I was burning a winter wonderland candle that I bought at Michael's. For a fairly cheap, store-bought candle, it smelled great, and burned evenly. I also had burning oatmeal raisin crumb cake by Kathy Ireland that I bought at Walgreens, and this one is amazing. It's so strong and authentic. I have 2 more of these, in pumkin spice and cranberry orange. Yum!

Last night I finished off my Raspberry Our Own Candle Company candle. Today I plan to try one of my elderly PartyLites - Pineapple Melon. A friend is having a candle party and I told her I would buy...(of course!) However, my recent PLs have been pretty weak so I am testing to see if I want to gamble - or just buy an accessory.

Right now I have been burning YC Spiced Pumpkin, YC Harvest and PI Pumpkin Pie. I want to finish these up soon so I can start some others.

Heidi,
I am burning the same one's from Walgreens.. I bought 6 and I am kicking myself that I didn't get 6 more. They are amazing! The strength and throw are just as good as most I have bought from any e-tailer. I have the Pumpkin Crunch and carmel Pecan Crumb cake going. I already went through the oatmeal raisin and Vanilla Crunch. The Cranberry is also great!

It must be a day for burning Kathy Ireland candles, I'm burning Oatmeal Raisin and orange cranberry. Both are very nice. But the best thing is that it was buy one get one free this week at Walgreens. I missed the sale when you buy one and get two free. This is the first time I've bought from KI. I would buy again.

I've got two Yankee jars in rotation this month.

Cinn-ister swirl and Patchouli

I also have cute little brown salt-box house shaped tarts from CCC in Elton John's Fireside scent. ( these are set out in a leaf shaped dish)

I have a YC jar in Buttercream/Candy Corn swirl and a square Village Candle in Pumpkin Chestnut in rotation right now... neither have a huge throw... but they look nice... and they do not compete with whatever melt I have going.

I've got 5 Yankee candles in rotation for the fall season: Autumn Gold, Autumn Wreath, Autumn Leaves, Fall Festival and Pumpkin Pie. I'm kind of an OCD freak with them, too. I try to keep them all at about the same level so that I finish them all about the same time, which hopefully is on Thanksgiving! Then I will roll out the Christmas jars!

Actually, I do the same thing sometimes, Jason! LOL

Right now I've got YC's Spiced Pumpkin and Autumn Wreath out. They'll probably finish up in a couple of weeks, then I'll swap them with YC Harvest and Pumpkin Pie. These two are about half burnt - leftover from last year - and hopefully they'll be all gone by Thanksgiving.

Because of where they're located, I don't get a huge throw from these jars, but the scents do complement my fall melts and they give off a great glow.

I have YC in rotation as well right now - Autumn Gold, Orchard Pear, and Pumpkin Patch. I try to get scents monthly so the Pumpkin Patch should be gone next week, then I'll get another fall scent for November.

I'm also occasionally firing up my PI Pumpkin Pie andle but it's almost gone and I don't want it to be, so I can avoid ordering another one this year. But my kids LOVE this candle so it gets requested often.

I used to LOVE YC. I burned them exclusively until my sister got me a tart warmer and different candles for Christmas last year. She is not a fan of YC

I really wish I would have had more money a couple of weeks ago when the Kathy Ireland candles were buy 1 get 2 free. I was only able to get 3 of them, and I've been thoroughly enjoying them. They have really impressed me.

What candles do you like? I've had a love/hate relationship with Yankee really.

Hi momuvtwo- I really like Front Porch candles and Carol from the keeping room. I am going to try different tart and candle vendors. I still like YC but my sister complains they are not strong enough for her and she has the nose of a drug dog. Hehe

Generally speaking, I'd have to agree with your sister :P Although the scents themselves are some of my favorite's, I don't expect much in terms of strength from Yankee - I use them more for ambiance and the mild scent is okay for the small space I typically burn them in. I stick with melting tarts for really strong scenting.

Heidi,
I know what you mean.....I bought 3 of them, gave 2 of them to my daughter, kept the other 4. I have burned the Caramel Pecan, and now i am burning the Vanilla Cake. I love them :P They really smell good, and they burn reallly good with the double wicks.

Going to keep checking to see when they are on sale again. I think the following week after that, they were still on sale, but they were buy one-get one free.
