The Bathing Garden clams. How long do you cure?

Just got these tonight.

I ordered 5-she kindly sent 7!! She was also kind enough to make mine naked. I do not want glitter, buttons or beads in my wax.

Some smell great right away, some a bit weak and a couple smell a touch of clam plastic.

I KNOW these must be cured. I have read that a few places here. How long have you found best?

It is not like I have nothing to melt these days while I wait...haha!

Thanks!!

To be safe and give them the very best and most fair assessment, I will wait a month.

Thanks so much!

You are quite welcome and good luck with that waiting...I am not very good at waiting! ;)

I have a lot of wax right now and I remembered (because I am trying to forget it) that I have some dental surgery a few days before Memorial Day weekend. My treat to myself will be busting these out and melting while I am resting afterwards.

I actually got great throw from most of my TBG with less than a week's curing. It will be interesting to see if they are even stronger now that I've had them for almost a month!

My TBG Calabrian Bergamot & Violet is one of the strongest tarts I've ever had.

I guess I will have to wait for a while for your reviews :):)

Well, it would not hurt to try one little cube in a week. You know, I could do it just as a test...not because I could not wait! haha!

My Experience:

A year or so ago I bought about ten clam shells from TBG. I tried two or three as soon as I received them and felt there wasn't much throw, so I put them aside.

Three or four months later, I was low on wax and brought them out again. I couldn't believe how strong the throw was for every single fragrance. So obviously, they got stronger as they cured but I have no idea within those few months how long it took.

I have since ordered more about 6 wks ago and they are curing now. I'm in no hurry.
