I do not hear much here about other bigger name brands of tarts Bridgewater, McCalls, Woodwick, Tyler, Beanpod, etc.

Does anyone melt them?

I saw the tartburners sale (unfortunately the 10% is just off $35+ orders) and I saw a bunch of brands that I have not tried (imagine that!) in wax melt form.

McCalls, Bridgewater, Woodwick, Tyler, Beanpod, Keepers of the Light and a few more.

I see Yankee and Scentsy discussed but other than as candles, I do not see much of these others.

Do you ever melt more big name brands?

Thanks!!

Sure! But there are so many smaller vendors to check out, that keeps me busy. I have several tried and true scents that I hoard and occasionally melt. I like several candles and melts from Tyler, Beanpod, Ilume, Bridgewater. I love the Woodwick crackle sound in winter!

Love McCalls! I've not had very good luck with Beanpod or Tyler candles...they have a burnt smell from the wick. Woodwick are nice and I love the pillars from Illume.

I do not do candles. Have you tried any of their melts?

You know, you led me well on Thompson's!!

I'm a big fan of McCalls, too! [smilie=th_smilies-2] They were one of the first candles I always continually bought. I think their melts are a tad stronger than the candles. Thing is, tho, Tartburners doesn't pkg McCalls button tarts individually (annoying! [smilie=th_sad-1] ) Whatever scents you order, they're all in 1 bag. So, if you're not famililar w/the scent, you may have a difficult time figuring out which is which. They're more $, but I like their tart bars. McCalls sometimes has sales, sign up for their newsletter on their site. I've tried a few Keepers of the Light melts too. For me, their melts weren't very strong, but, they do have some good scents. Sometimes an area/room needs a lighter scent and there are some people that even prefer lighter scents (few around here, tho :) ).

I like the candles from the places you listed. As far as melts, I like McCall's (love their Lemon Loaf) and Bridgewater. I tried several melts from Keepers of the Light, and while their candles were strong for me, the melts didn't have much throw.

Colonial Candle is starting to offer melts again. they used to be light throwers for me. I haven't tried them since they've been reintroduced.

Good choices Karen...LOVE MCCALLS!!!!! Especially Country Store, State Fair, Laura's Lemon Loaf & Royal Ginger!
I buy the melts and candles. Also love Bridgewater and Woodwick. I always burn a Evergreen Woodwick near Christmas. :)

I also enjoy melts from big name companies such as McCall's, Swan Creek, Time & Again, and some WoodWick. Plenty of other big name candle brands, but I understand you're really more interested in melts.

You will LOVE the tart bars! My favorite McCall's scents are Country Store, Sunrise Cinnamon Bun, Pumpkin Spice, Mulled Apple Cider, and Autumn Leaves is a must-have for fall.

I am eager to get them. It seems unless it contains pumpkin, apples and cinnamon I just do not love it!

I ordered Farmer's Market because their site said that it and Pumpkin Spice were the same thing!

Will let you know what I think once they arrive. Thanks again!!

I am shocked! A box on the porch when we got home from work.

MCCALL'S!!!!!!!!

So, I promptly put away what I had planned to melt tonight and I am melting a bar of Country Store and a bar of Farmer's Market.

They have just been on a few minutes and I love them already!!

I have branched out and tried some things that I never have before (fruits, lemons, limes, etc.) and they are nice but if I am honest with myself I know that I really only love cinnamon-y, pumpkin-y, apple-y stuff.

I do not know why I did not know about these and try them sooner!!

Cannot wait to see how they melt through the evening.
