Don't worry, Breelee! The tarts ARE as "WOWWEE" as you've heard, it's just that I already have a pretty good size stash from her already...to the tune of about...oh, 97.
So you see, I don't actually NEED more tarts. Just thought it would be fun to try some of her new ones out and add them to my collection.

PLEASE READ ----- Hey LSC Customers! Quick updates for people that may be new to ordering from LSC, and/or changes in general with the addition of Ready To Ship (RTS). First of all, we appreciate all of your orders so much! We know everyone has been very excited about this re-opening, and after a couple of snafus, everything is running very smoothly! Ok, about RTS, as it states on the RTS page of the website when you order, RTS orders MUST Be ALL RTS tarts. All tarts are NOT available on the RTS list - it's just what is available and listed. Also, RTS is intended for smaller orders - 1 to 2 of each scent at the most. If you order more than that, OR if you order from the NON RTS tarts listed on the right hand side, your order will be subject to the standard TAT as listed on the website and the box you had to check in order to complete you order. This TAT has been standard for Pam for months, and it's currently 21 business days, which does not include weekends or holidays. Orders could always take less time than this, but with a huge re-opening, we are sure you can understand that there are lots of orders to fill! Pam does this job all by herself - website design, making tarts, packaging, label design, packing the boxes, etc., so I do my best to help answer questions. We ask that if you order is still well within the 21 business day TAT (we are currently at FOUR business days if you ordered on the re-opening day) that you please hold off on questions about TAT because this takes time away from Pam filling orders, and we know you want your orders faster.

I will likely not place an order again.
I do not like being made feel badly about wanting to order from a company. Countless Facebook posts about RTS and how it will be taken away if people are ordering too much (WHAT?!) or too many of one fragrance. I got over the no gift tarts with RTS (although I will say that EVERY other maker from from I order RTS does send gift tarts). They are gifts after all so to offer them or not is at her discretion.
I am just confused how so many can offer RTS and it seems so much less a bother.

Many here have established relationships with makers and have followed them through thick and thin. For a newbie, I am already turned off to a couple of makers that if I'd had the history I know that I'd feel differently.
Part of doing business is understanding how one's company presents itself to faithful customers but also to those who might be encountering the business for the very first time.

One of the things I learned through the years is that these small businesses are extremely varied - from who runs the show, what help is/is not available, whether the owner has another job outside the home, how they create & the workspace they have at their disposal. To name just a few! When someone does or does not provide a particular product or service, I make the assumption they have evaluated their particular unique set of circumstances and decided it is something they can (or cannot) reasonably provide. Whether it's because of their bottom line, their family time commitment or just their sanity! And that I can respect.
That being said, I don't think any of the above should ever be used as an excuse for providing poor customer service. It is business, after all! I did not place an order with this past LSC reopening, but I did read a lot of buzz about ordering - particularly the RTS items. I can certainly see how that entire initial impression would be tainted for a first-time customer. I think even some of her repeat customers were a bit put off. I do think she meant well overall, but I hate that was your introduction to LSC. The entire situation might have been better handled & I hope she is able to get some things ironed out for the future.

LSC's sudden popularity must be daunting for such a small company. A lengthening TAT would be a miserable experience for a vendor, once they get behind that 8 ball and start to get a barrage of TAT complaints. I guess that's why she's been opening and closing...to keep the TAT in check?
That opening and closing business drives me crazy too. There are a few B&B vendors that operate that way and ordering is like being at Walmart for Black Friday. Total mayhem and frustration.
In the past, I only remember LSC selling made to order melts. I'm surprised she's offering RTS items at all. Not many little companies can afford to stock RTS items in bulk on a regular basis. (Carol / CFTKR being the amazing exception, but she's got several years in the biz and has grown her business gracefully over time)
The interest in RTS items instead of the usual made- to-order melts is a pretty recent development. I'm guessing LSC may be just as floored by the sudden explosion of RTS requests as she was with the overnight popularity of her regular melts last year. I'm not speaking for her...since I don't know her. I"m just speculating, and trying to give a well liked vendor the benefit of the doubt.
For myself, I don't mind waiting for a regular order of melts. I prefer they are made fresh so I know how old they are. They'll cure plenty in the time it takes to pour, package, and ship to me, and they can age right here in my own stash.
As far as freebie melts, it's nice to get them, but never required.

Since yet another Facebook post was just made about RTS, I now get it.
Unlike places CFTKR, Sugar & Spice and Butterfly Lane (who all offer RTS), she is just listing scents that she has as RTS but with no quantity. Those other makers have scents listed with a number by them. Once gone, that scent choice disappears.
So, with no cap on them (no number of actual inventory) she ends up having to re-pour to make RTS which does not make them RTS at all, then.
