I got my first Sugar & Spice order today. I know the wax is a soy blend. I melt blends from other vendors, but on cold sniff, these smell weak to me. These were from the RTS list. Are they stronger when melted? I was really hoping I wouldn't have to let them cure. I plan on giving one a try in a bit to see how it goes, but curious what your experience has been. Thanks! :)

Hoping others will share since my experience is limited.

I have now gotten 2 orders from her. ALL were RTS scent shots. I tried just 2 from my first order and melted as soon as received and I have to say that they were 2 of the best cups that I have melted.

I checked my spreadsheet (yep, that is what I really did! haha!) and the 2 I melted were Apple Zucchini Bread and Vanilla Bean (this one was a gift tart in my order). My note is that it was the best Vanilla that I have warmed thus far. Vanillas have been very weak and disappointing thus far for me.

I am eager to warm more of hers and placed my second order right after warming just those two. I am forcing myself to melt through my non-favorites before I get to my favorites.

I have a spreadsheet too! :) It helps to keep track. They are a little stronger on cold sniff now, probably since they are in the house and not on the mail truck anymore. I am used to tarts being super strong when I open them, and these I had to sniff harder lol. I am glad you have liked yours! I am looking forward to seeing how they are melted.

Shortygal~ I usually try to let my stuff sit for a week or two or three...sometimes even if they are not all soy, they need some time to really get the full potential. I don't actually remember if I ever melted a few of the S&S right away (it's sometimes too hard to wait) but I did notice that if it's cold out, my wax mail deliveries have NO scent when they arrive. I usually let my waxies sit a while but I rarely put a lot of stock in cold sniffs. My nose requires a heat source to bring out the true strength and complexity of a scent. I love many of the scents from Sugar & Spice. I hope you enjoy your order!
