It all depends on the vendor. Some tarts last longer than others. I find that paraffin wax outlasts soy. Some of my tarts are at least 3 years old. I would ideally like to keep them no longer than a year. While melting some of my older ones I get so mad realizing they have little scent left but I will melt those for a couple of hours anyway. i can't stand the feeling that I have wasted my money. I am trying now to melt all my older tarts so in the future I can melt through what I have faster.

I agree - depends on the vendor.
