Sipping Tea Goose Creek Candle Review
By Christina Rylan
Brand: Goose Creek
Type: Large 22oz candle
Fragrance: Sipping Tea
Scent Strength: Very Light
First impression of Sipping Tea:
Sipping Tea is a seasonal scent and listed on mega sale right now on Goose Creek’s website so I figured this would be a great time to burn this candle and review it.
I loved the color of this candle… the wax was a pretty and bright purple. The label on the candle showed a cup of hot tea with a stack of old books sitting next to it.
Here is the scent description:
This delightfully refreshing fragrance blends tea leaves with bursts of chilled lemonade and lime juice while accords of pear nectar, crystallized sugar, mimosa and musk adds a soothing sensation.
First impression, I loved this scent from just smelling the wax. Honestly, I didn’t smell a lick of musk which I’m glad of… that would have changed the entire scent. This wax smelled like lemonade, pear, sugar, with hints of tea. Very sweet, fruity and I really liked it.
Everything looks promising… now let’s see how this candle performs!
I lit this candle in my master bedroom to start out and ended up moving it to my small powder room an hour later. The scent was way too light for a large room. Once I moved it… it wasn’t much better. This scent was so light, it could barely fragrance my tiny little powder room. Not normal for this brand. When I put my nose up to the candle, I could smell a sweet mix of lemonade and tea… kind of like an Arnold Palmer drink. I liked it, it just needed to be stronger.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a o in a large or medium room. 3 in a tiny room.
This candle burned fine. No wick issues, clean and even burn from start to finish. I just had to keep up on wick maintenance.
Closing to my review:
It’s currently on mega sale so if this scent interests you, now is the time to purchase one. Just burn it in a really small room.
Happy candle hunting!
