What did my candle smell like?
Rainy Spring Day from Better Homes was an impulse purchase. I didn’t think I was going to like it until I popped off the lid and smelled the wax. A sweet “green” type aroma wafted all around me and I really liked it. I think I even detected a touch of floral in the background. Hard to tell though with no scent description. I searched high and low for one online but couldn’t find one, sorry.
Time to find out how this candle performs!
I lit this candle in a small bathroom, my favorite size room to burn this brand in and it performed perfect there. Once lit, it took a good hour or more to reach a full melt pool and from then on, a sweet and powdery floral/green aroma flowed through my bathroom. It was really lovely. This scent is also hard to describe and one you’ll have to experience yourself to understand. Just imagine a fresh, powdery floral scent. Sweet, fresh and lovely.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6 in a small bathroom. Not super strong but gave a softer medium scent throw. I wouldn’t even bother trying in a larger room, the scent would be lost.
This candle burned great. No issues. Clean and even burn from beginning to end.
Closing to my review:
I enjoyed Rainy Spring Day from Better Homes and would purchase it again for sure. It was a light, airy and fresh floral scent that really brightened my bathroom. Definitely check this fragrance out next time you’re at Walmart. You may walk away with one.
Happy candle hunting!
