What did my candle smell like?
What a fun and summery looking candle this was… the wax was a vibrant Smurf blue… I couldn’t resist. And YAY!! I found a scent description on Walmart’s website!! That doesn’t happen very often. Here it is:
“This sparkling scent of juicy pineapple, sweet orange and Fuji apple becomes enriched with Rainier cherries and passion fruit. Tahitian vanilla and white musk leave a beautiful fragrance experience.”
Mmmmm!! Sounds great. Cold sniff… the fragrance basically reminded me of a classic fruit punch. Sweet and yummy!! Time to light my candle to see how it smelled burning…….. I stuck to a small bathroom to test it in and once lit, it didn’t take long to start noticing the scent. The fragrance… a nice and sweet fruit punch. I liked it. I could clearly make out pineapple, orange and cherries… everything else in the description… it was hard to tell. To me, this scent smelled exactly as the name implies… a sweet tropical punch.
Strength… on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6. It gave a pretty decent throw in a small room. Anything larger would have worked but the fragrance would have been pretty light.
My candle burned great. Very slow. It took hours to reach a full melt pool but once it did, it burned straight down. No wasted wax… clean burn.
Closing to my review:
I liked this fragrance and I would buy it again. It was fun and perfect for summer and bonus… it looked really pretty burning with it’s bright blue wax. I love burning Smurf blue candles… they glow so beautifully.
If you love fruity scents, definitely give this candle a try. It was fun and summery.
Burn Performance: 4/5
