Brand: Essenza – purchased at Costco
Type: 10.5oz luxury candle
Fragrance: Mandarin Cilantro
Scent Strength: Light
First impression of Mandarin Cilantro:
I don’t know if any of you Costco shoppers have noticed but Costco carries some pretty cool candles once in a while. Essenza is a brand they often sell and I’ve been happy overall with the quality and price. They’re lightly scented but I’m okay with that. I just burn them in small bathrooms. Essenza advertises their candles are fragranced with pure essential oils and I can’t verify that but they sure do smell good.
Mandarin Cilantro was part of a 3 pack I purchased for $19 dollars. Not bad for a luxury brand. First impression… I smelled a sweet orange. No cilantro based off cold sniff but we shall see once the candle is burning.
Let’s find out!
I lit this candle in my small powder room and it didn’t take long before the fragrance was permeating the small little room, and what I smelled was very refreshing. The aroma… a fresh and sweet citrus orange. I still couldn’t detect cilantro in the mix, just sweet oranges and I really liked it.
Strength – this candle was perfect in a small room. Anything larger and the aroma would have been lost. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 7 in a really small room. 5 or less in anything larger.
This candle burned pretty good. It did burn very slow and had a hard time reaching a full melt pool with each lighting but it wasn’t too bad. A teeny bit of wax was left along the glass wall at the end but not enough to complain about.
Closing to my review:
I’ve only found this brand at Costco stores so if you’re interested, that’s where to look.
Happy candle hunting!
