What did my Fireside candle smell like?
This is my third review of Essenza candles I purchased from Costco. What a great deal these candles turned out to be. They came in a gift set… 3 large candles in a nice gift box for $19.95. What a perfect gift for any candle lover. Fireside was a really pretty candle with its dark black glass, black wax that looked like charcoal and a really pretty gold and black decorative oval label which really stood out against the black glass. The whole look fit right in with the scent theme.
I didn’t have a description to post with this review but the wax smelled very rustic and masculine to me. I didn’t really think it smelled like wood smoke but again, without a description, it’s hard to know what exactly this scent is supposed to be. Time to find out how it burns….
I decided to stick to a small bathroom to test this candle in and ended up leaving it there from start to finish. The scent throw was a steady medium and filled my bathroom and hallway beyond with fragrance so out of the three in this gift set… this one was definitely the strongest.
The fragrance… a rustic masculine fragrance and one I can’t really describe. It’s just one of those you’ll have to experience for yourself and at $20 bucks for 3 candles, that won’t be hard to do.
Strength – on a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this candle a 6. Not super strong but great for a small room.
My candle burned great. It started slow and appeared to tunnel but it eventually righted itself and burned even all the way down. No wasted wax. No soot.
Closing to my review:
Happy candle shopping!
Visit Costco (although, you can only purchase these in their stores.)
