Clean:

I really-really liked this scent! It's different, fresh and makes my house smell incredible. Here is the scent description straight from K's Kreations website:

"A duplication of this fabulous fragrance by DLish. It combines the fragrance notes of litsea cubeba, orange, sweet lime, pink grapefruit, passion lily, rose geranium, and white musk. Clean Sweet Layer combines the fragrance notes of sweet orange, grapefruit, lime, neroli, and rose to add a sweet feminine layer to the scent while maintaining the soapy, clean essence."

After reading the description, I was curious about "Litsea Cubeba" because I had never heard of it until now. Here is what I found when I Googled it:

"Litsea Cubeba is a fruit tree found in China, Taiwan or Japan. The small pepper shaped fruits resemble peppers and give off a lemon-like, fresh, sweet odor."

It's no wonder I liked this scent so much... anything that smells like lemon is a winner in my book. And then to throw in sweet lime, grapefruit, & orange... HELLO!! But then there were so many other scents in the mix too... I really tried to pay attention to the fragrance more to see if I could break down anything else. After awhile, I finally just gave up. I will say one thing though... just by the name, you may think it might have a soapy smell but it didn't smell like soap at all to me. Instead, it took on more fruiter notes and I think that's why I liked it so much.

The scent throw with this candle was medium+... not super strong which was fine since I was burning two candles anyway. If you plan on burning just one candle... I would test it in a medium sized room or smaller and see how it goes. You may get away with burning one in a larger room, it's hard to say. The tarts on the other hand were wonderful and gave a strong throw. I enjoyed both equally.

Clean smells fantastic... it's simply fresh and vibrant which is what lured me in when I took a whiff of this scent for the first time. Definitely try it if you're after a clean and fresh smell and not your typical laundry or soap smell.

My candles burned perfect. No waste, soot or smoke.

Overall Opinion of My Candles and K's Kreations:

I definitely like this company and have even named them in my favorite top 5 soy companies. They are excellent and so far, every candle I've tried has been strong and true to it's description. Their tarts are awesome!! Tart lovers... go try them because they really are wonderful and when you buy in larger packages, they come in the cutest bakery style bags. The presentation of their products is very nice and tasteful and has that country home feel that makes shopping on these sites so special to me.

The only criticism I could give is that this site does not have flat rate or shipping specials. That's a really big pet peeve of mine but as time goes by, I'm finding more and more sites are not offering shipping breaks anymore. Bummer but what are ya gonna do? So, when I like a company that much, I make exceptions and say to heck with it. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet when you want something...at least that's my excuse when candle shopping. :-) I do know they have sales often... I actually caught their spring sale which was 15% off so that pretty much offsets shipping.

I love my candles, love-love-love them. On my last tart order, I bought a bunch of fall bakery scents. Can you believe it? I bought bakery scents in the middle of summer! What came over me, I have no idea, LOL! I'm glad I did too because when I opened my packages to smell all my goodies, I was tempted to pop a few in my mouth, they smelled so yummy. Like Lemon Meringue Pie (the best!!), Baked Apples, Hot Orange Danish, Maple Nut Sticky Bun... and on and on.

Give this company a try, everything here is good.
