Pink Lime:

I've tried this fragrance from different companies and it's a definite winner if you're a citrus lover. Before I even lit this candle, my mouth was practically watering in anticipation of smelling this tart and zesty scent.  Primitive Pickenz gives a different version and it's definitely worthy of a repeat purchase. Here's the scent description for this fragrance:

"Wooh Weee, this is a good one! Top notes of lime, dew fruit, peach, orange, apple, and mandarin blend with middle notes of lily, berries, jasmine, and lavender into a sandalwood, raspberry vanilla, musk, coconut base."

Now after reading that description, you would think this scent is going to be complex because of everything in it.  At first before even lighting it, I wanted to say it's not complex at all but after burning this candle for a few days, I have to admit that it is.  I really couldn't pinpoint any of the above when smelling this candle while burning.  It's citrusy but sweeter than other versions I've tried.  All the Pink Limes I've tried in the past were a very strong citrus to me.  Primitive Pickenz version is much sweeter than previous versions I've tried.

The scent throw on this candle was below medium which surprised me, I thought it was going to be much stronger.  I started burning this candle in my large master bathroom and ended up moving it to a smaller bathroom because it wasn't strong enough to fragrance that large of a room.  Once I moved the candle to an area where the scent was able to fill the room, it was awesome and I loved it.  I will say that all the versions of Pink Lime I've tried in the past were in tarts, not candles.  I know from experience that tarts definitely give a stronger throw so maybe I had unfair expectations of how strong the candle was going to be, who knows?  My candle was also small so maybe a bigger candle will give a stronger throw.  I love this fragrance and think it's definitely worth a try so if it's something you're interested in, go for it.

How Did My Candles from Primitive Pickens Burn?

My candles burned evenly & completely to the bottom with no waste.

Overall Opinion of My Candles from Primitive Pickenz:

I enjoyed the 3 candles I tried from this company and will definitely be shopping on this site again.  They have a large selection of candle styles and plenty of fragrances to choose from making it very easy to shop on this website.

The only negative I could point out with this company would be shipping, there are no shipping specials at all but instead charge actual shipping.  As you know, I'm not a huge fan of paying for shipping but sometimes it's unavoidable since there are websites out there that don't offer shipping specials.  I don't want to miss out on some great candles so it all depends on how bad I want it. Actual shipping isn't too bad I guess and it's even better if companies use USPS flat rate boxes.  That usually works out better when ordering tarts since you can squeeze lots in there. I've done that many times so I'm becoming quite the expert. :-)

In closing, I say definitely give this company a shot. Customer service is great and Suzi, owner of Primitive Pickens, answers emails real quick and ships her products in a timely manner.

Happy shopping everyone.
