This is actually the first Pure Integrity review I've written but it got put on the back burner because the candle in this review is a summer scent written back in October 2005 (sorry but I couldn't help myself). I ended up writing another review in December on Pure Integrity's Victorian Christmas scent but this is actually the one that should have debuted first. Just I bit of CandleFind trivia I wanted you to know about. :-)

I really-really like Pure Integrity candles.  I'm still really new to this company as I've only burned a few but the ones I've tried are wonderful.  They sell 100% all soy candles in over 62 fragrances which is a pretty nice selection. I've read \'Carolyn\'s and I probably check out their web site on a weekly basis.  I absolutely love candles and want them all, not just one or two but everything I see.  Very horrible trait but candles are the one luxury I indulge myself on so I excuse this one bad habit of mine.

Why has it taken me so long to start burning Pure Integrity candles? First of all, I'm stubborn. I couldn't get past their prices. $18.99 for a 16oz candle is expensive to me and that's all I would see.  I'm starting to realize that is definitely the wrong attitude because you really don't know what you're money's worth "is" until you personally try it. It's also a gamble when purchasing from a company for the first time so it's understandable that consumers are cautious. That's one of the beauties of CandleFind... we get to comparison shop for you!

Several months ago, I received a call from Jeff Schumacher, co-owner and President of Pure Integrity asking me if I would like to try a few of their candles. I think I blubbered out a "sure, yes, I would love to" (HELLO!! I've only wanted to try these candles for months and months now!!). and then I listened to him explain why their candles are so special and set apart from every other candle out there.  He called it "Innovative Fragrance Technology". It's a 7 step process that allows their soy wax to absorb much more fragrance than any other candle you can buy on the market today. It's much to detailed for me to explain in this long winded review but if you would like to read up on it further, it's explained in detail on their website.

If I'm being honest here, I really didn't know what to expect of these candles. Let's face it, every candle company out there claims to have the best but do they really? The one thing that stood out to me the most with Pure Integrity was the phone call. How refreshing to get a call with the person on the other end completely and totally passionate about what they have achieved, created and have to offer. THAT right there made me realize, okay,. this guy knows his stuff, stands by his products, LOVES his candles, isn't pushy but wants to make sure I'm getting what I want. That really impressed the heck out of me.

SO,¦ the fragrances I ended up choosing are, drum roll, Fruit Slices (which I'm reviewing now), Pumpkin Pie, & Hot Apple Strudel. I could go on and on about Pumpkin Pie and Hot Apple Strudel but you can read up on those two scents in \'Carolyn\'s. She tried them too and loved them as much as I did. Today I'm here to tell you about Fruit Slices.
