Introduction to My Fruit Trees Candle By Aromatique...
Aromatique Candles in my "humble" opinion are very high end candles. The only place I've ever found them aside from online shopping is at a department store named, Dillard's (I bet Nordstrom's carries them too). Every time I'm there, I usually make a beehive toward them, pop open the lids for a quick sniff, then stare at them longingly thinking, no way am I spending 22 bucks on a small candle! I'm a bargain shopper at heart and probably always will be but that doesn't mean I don't have expensive taste either. I would love to buy every one of them every time I'm there but sadly, I force myself to shop by one word, control.
Carolyn of Candlefind approached me not long ago and asked if I would mind trying Aromatique's Spa collection. Um… does Yogi Bear like picnic baskets? HELLO!! Of course I said I wouldn't mind! I couldn't wait to give these candles a try.
When the candles arrived, I didn't even have to take them out of their individual boxes to smell how fragrant they were. The shipping box itself smelled awesome from carrying its contents. After smelling all my prizes, I decided to categorize them by which scent I liked best and then so on. True to my predicable self, I chose Fruit Trees Candle for my first burn.
What Does My Fruit Trees Candle from Aromatique Look Like?
The candle is very attractive... elegant and classy are the best words to describe it. The candle is 5 ounces and came in a square box that fit the candle snugly. The candle itself is in a thick square glass. The wax color is white. The glass is really pretty and for the practical person, once the candle is done, they are the perfect size to clean and use as snifter/cocktail glasses. How Did My Fruit Trees Candle Smell?
Just smelling the candle unlit gave me an idea of how strong this candle would be burning. I absolutely love a strong candle, the stronger, the better and this candle definitely fit the bill. I lit my candle early morning in my bedroom and I didn't have to wait long before I started smelling the fragrance. Usually 30 minutes is the norm for me but not so with this one. I would say I started noticing the fragrance in 10 minutes. That is above respectable.
I can't tell you exactly what fruit this candle is fragranced from because I'm not really sure myself. It must be a mixture of several fruits, all I know is it's sweet, fruity and delicious. The scent throw is strong, filling my entire room & bathroom with its fragrance.
How Did My Fruit Trees Candle Burn?
My candle burned evenly & completely to the bottom with no waste.
Overall Opinion of My Fruit Trees Candle and Aromatique:
This is a hard one for me because after finally trying these candles, I do like them. Problem is, would I spend 15 dollars on a 5oz candle? My answer is, probably, but not for every day burning. I would most likely purchase Aromatique for special occasions. That is totally a personal choice, I burn candles so much, I couldn't justify the cost for every day use. For those of you who don't mind the price… go for it!! These candles are high quality and are very fragrant. The entire packaging is beautiful and where I'm sure a portion of the cost goes. This is a line of candles one could expect to find in a room at a Four Seasons Resort. Very elegant daaaaling.....
