One of the coolest things about running Candle Find is having free candles sent to me. Every time I get a new package, it feels like Christmas morning. :) My latest shipment came from a company called Pure Integrity Soy Candles. They make scented soy candles which are available online in a wide variety of scent collections including Warm Spice, Serene Outdoors, Luscious Fruits, Floral, Aromatherapy, Hot Out Of The Oven and more.
Luckily, I got to choose which scent from Pure Integrity I wanted to try. When I was checking out their scents, I noticed they make Grape scented candles. I have been to so many candle sites online that it would make your head spin, but this is the first time I've noticed Grape as an available scent. I was so excited! I have always been a big fan of grape flavored anything... grape juice, grape candy, grape popscicles... yummy!
I emailed Pure Integrity to make sure their grape scented candles were dark purple. I don't know why this mattered to me, but it did. :) I guess I wanted the candle to be just like the grape treats I've always enjoyed. When the folks at P.I.S.C. told me their grape candles were in fact dark purple, I was ready to try one.
What did my Pure Integrity Candles look like?
Pure Integrity sent me a 10 oz. jar candle in grape. They also generously sent me some of their lemongrass scented tealights and these adorable baby candle favors. (I might write a review of the tealights and favors in the future.)
My jar candle from Pure Integrity was very attractive. The jar was slightly frosted with a matte finish. There was no label on my jar, which is kind of nice because I could enjoy the color more. My jar was topped off with a wooden lid. To my surprise and delight, my candle was double-wicked. I like this because I think two flames are prettier when it's burning compared to just one.
